With over 80 artisans, plenty of food and live music in a beautiful lake-mountain setting, it's easy to forget that the Spring Lake Lure Arts & Crafts Festival is a charitable event to help feed the hungry right here in our community.
     The festival is organized by the Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach, a non profit organization that provides food pantry and outreach services to low-income families.  Revenues from the event help make this possible.
     With more artists and handmade crafts than ever before, the festival brings together a unique celebration of community and art by promoting the considerable talents of local and regional artisans and crafts people.
